The definitive tour to know and enjoy wine at a stone’s throw from Santiago!

A fun experience in which we enjoyed all the stages of the life of wine, its history and its present.

We will learn about the protagonist, the vitis vinifera, we will learn about the different strains and varieties that give rise to the different types of wines. The characteristics of the terroirs in which the vines are grown, the winery, the barrel aging process, the assemblages … And, most importantly, the practical part! In each of the stages we will carry out extensive tastings. You will also taste local gastronomic products, courtesy of local artisans: honey, cheeses, handmade jams…

We do not forget to toast to the one who makes all this possible, the great Maipo River that irrigates and gives life to the orchards and vineyards of the valley. Before lunch, we will take a comfortable and pleasant walk along a beautiful interpretive trail to contemplate the native flora and fauna.

The tour ends with a guided tasting at the Parador del Vino de Isla de Maipodonde whereyou can buy handicrafts, typical gastronomic products of the area and snacks. There, we put at your disposal a barbecue area and gardens with grill, tables and chairs.

Capacity: minimum 1 person. Maximum 15 people. More people to consult.

Degree of difficulty: physical conditions suitable for a comfortable half-hour walk along the Maipo riverbank.

Parador del Vino. Time for lunch, a guided wine tasting and good conversation.
